FAQ
Here you’ll find clear answers to the most common questions.
Every photograph is carefully polished to bring out its best. We crop, adjust light and color, create a smooth, elegant style, and lightly retouch portraits.
For short sessions, the finished images are ready in about 10 days; for weddings, 4–8 weeks with a highlights preview within 2-5 days.
All final photos are delivered in a beautiful, private gallery, ready to share and download.
To secure your date, you’ll need to complete our booking form, which also serves as your contract, and provide a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. Deposits can be made via PayPal, Wise, bank transfer, or card.
Generally, I don’t set a fixed route in advance. The locations depend on many factors: the season, time of day, session length, your outfits, mood, and the current situation in the city (construction, events, etc.). Of course, if there are spesific places you’d love to include, I’ll gladly take your preferences into account.
For weddings, having an elegant car adds to the experience and creates beautiful photo opportunities (please, no limousines). For other sessions, we usually move on foot and occasionally use Uber when needed.
Absolutely. I care just as much as you do that your makeup stays flawless, your bouquet remains fresh, and every detail of your day runs smoothly. I only recommend specialists whose work I fully trust and would personally hire myself, so you can be confident in their professionalism.
I focus exclusively on photography, as I believe each craft deserves full attention. For video, I’m happy to recommend professional videographers whose work I trust, ensuring both your photos and film are of the highest quality.
I’ll guide you every step of the way. I’ll show you how to stand, move, and interact naturally so your photos feel effortless and elegant. My goal is for you to feel relaxed and confident, and for every moment to look beautifully authentic.
Please, have a look here.
For weddings that cannot be rescheduled, I recommend planning ahead with umbrellas — transparent ones or ones that complement your outfits. Booking a spacious, luxurious hotel or elegant apartments allows us to take stunning photos indoors for hours. In Prague, there are also a few beautiful sheltered spots perfect for rainy-day photography. Light rain can even add a touch of romance and atmosphere to your images.
If the session can be rescheduled, it’s best to choose another day that works for both of us. I always suggest keeping a few extra days as a buffer. Rescheduling is handled smoothly and at no extra cost when we agree together.
The most beautiful light is found early in the morning or in the evening before sunset.
Morning sessions offer soft, clear light and almost no one around Prague’s iconic sights, but the sun rises quickly and it means an early start (6am usually).
Sunset sessions provide longer, gentle light, rested faces, and the city full of life with shops and streets bustling, though there will be more people.
Yes, I create elegant, hard-cover photo albums where your images are beautifully printed directly on the pages and thoughtfully arranged to tell your story. I truly believe a photobook is the most meaningful way to preserve your memories. The album takes about 2 months to produce. You can also order it later, and many couples choose to do so for their anniversary.

The earlier you reserve your date, the better. The most popular dates, especially during peak months, are often booked up to a year in advance. To secure your date, a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking.
Of course. These are the people you’ve chosen to share your wedding day with, and they are an important part of your story. I capture both beautifully posed group portraits and natural, candid moments throughout the entire day.
I recommend preparing a list of the group photos you would like to have in advance, including the names of the participants. It’s also helpful to assign a close friend or family member to assist with this list, so we can organize the formal photos quickly and smoothly.
Usually, I come when the bride is almost ready and only the finishing touches are left in her make-up and her hairdo.
Don’t drag them along—they’ll get bored in ten minutes anyway. Instead, give them a little adventure: a city tour, a river cruise, a ride on a historic tram, or just some well-deserved hotel downtime. Meanwhile, you two can relax, laugh, and focus on each other—because with everyone watching, it’s impossible to be truly in the moment.
I’m always prepared for any scenario, but of course, everything should be discussed before the wedding. If your ceremony is in a castle by candlelight in the evening, I need to know in advance. For the reception, I always bring my own additional lighting. Still, the best investment you can make for your evening program, besides a great DJ and delicious food, is hiring a professional lighting designer.
With 15 years of experience in wedding photography, I’ve shot in a wide range of locations, from grand castles to intimate hidden spots, and I’m ready for any situation. I know how to adapt to every space, find the most flattering angles, and create images that feel both natural and extraordinary. My couples often tell me they feel like I see moments before they happen, capturing the magic effortlessly.
Absolutely. I’ve photographed weddings with diverse cultural and language backgrounds, and I know how to navigate traditions, ceremonies, and family dynamics with respect and ease, ensuring every moment is captured beautifully.
I focus on anticipating and observing moments rather than directing them. By blending into the day and staying present, I catch authentic emotions — laughter, tears, joy — all without making anyone feel posed or awkward. Every glance, hug, or reaction is documented as it naturally unfolds.
I shoot with two cameras, each with dual memory cards, so every image is immediately backed up. After the wedding, I transfer the photos onto two separate hard drives for extra security, ensuring nothing is ever lost.
Yes, absolutely. I offer flexible options to capture every part of your wedding journey — from the excitement of getting ready to romantic after-wedding sessions. These extra moments often become some of the most cherished images.
The length of coverage really depends on how you imagine your wedding day and the moments that matter most to you. Some couples want full-day coverage, starting with preparations in the morning, through the ceremony, portraits, and the entire reception, so no detail or emotion is missed. Others may prefer shorter coverage, focusing on the ceremony and couple portraits if they already have videography or other ways to capture the day.
I usually recommend planning your coverage around the flow of your day: consider when the most meaningful moments happen, when the lighting is best for photos, and how much time you want for portraits versus candid storytelling. My goal is to create a seamless photographic narrative, so you’ll have a complete and beautiful record of your wedding, no matter the length.
I can help you design the ideal coverage plan that balances your priorities, timeline, and style, ensuring you get every image that tells your story.
General questions
Prague is beautiful at any time of the year, but it's best to take pictures when it's warm outside. Depending on your preferences, I would advise you to choose the period from April to the end of October. In the spring trees bloom in the city very beautifully, but it can be slightly cool. Summer is warm with a lot of sunny days, but the tourist season is in full swing, so there is much more people in the streets. In the middle of autumn, the tourist flow becomes not so intensive, it is not so hot in the street and the city gradually begins to get dressed up in autumn mottled colors.
Yes, I recommend scheduling your shoot from Monday to Thursday, as there are fewer tourists. This makes it much easier to capture the city’s beauty without crowds and ensures a more relaxed, comfortable session.
I suggest bringing accessories that add variety to your look and allow interaction - hats with veils, a flowing veil, a hand fan, or fresh flowers (no artificial ones!). Instead of props that look staged, think about natural things you can do together that create genuine moments.
For example, in Prague you can enjoy a cozy café break with champagne or coffee, take a romantic ride on a boat along the Vltava, have a picnic in a park, or dance together under sunset light — all of these actions create authentic and beautiful photos.
The most ideal variant is to postpone the shooting to another day. Therefore, if possible, try to allocate for a trip to Prague at least 3-5 days.It happens rarely that it rains cats and dogs all day. Therefore, we either take a break and transfer the shooting to another time, or while it rains, we make photos in a hotel or a cafe.
I recommend choosing a hotel or apartment near Charles Bridge — the main streets to look for are Karlova and Mostecká. If that’s not possible, aim for accommodation within walking distance of Old Town Square.
I also have a list of recommended hotels that are perfect for photos. Staying in these places can add variety to your pre-wedding session, so your photos won’t be just streets of Prague but will include beautiful interiors and unique settings.
Schedule
A lot of! Regardless of the chosen package, we will move around and take photos almost continuously. Of course, the more shooting hours we have, the more different places we can cover, but even with a minimum package you will have a lot of different photos in interesting locations.
We will take photos in the Old Town, visiting the most picturesque spots in Prague. Along the way, I’ll show you many hidden corners and beautiful places that only locals usually know. If the shoot is during the day, I choose locations that are less crowded but just as stunning as the famous Prague landmarks.
Photos in a church are only possible if you have a ceremony there. You cannot simply come in and take pictures in a wedding dress for religious reasons. I can recommend a planner who can help you organize a wedding ceremony in a church if needed.
Early in the morning, the stylist comes to your room. You can find recommendations on how to prepare for their arrival in a separate guide. Bride’s hair and makeup usually take about two hours. After that, you get dressed and head out for the shoot.
We usually meet at dawn at the first location to start the photo session. Depending on the package you choose, we either shoot continuously for several hours or take a break halfway for lunch and rest. During this break, depending on your package, the stylist may come to your hotel to finish any touch-ups, or you can simply relax and enjoy some free time. Closer to sunset, we meet again at a planned location to continue the shoot, taking advantage of the beautiful evening light.
Make-UP
Absolutely! My stylists have worked with many brides of Asian appearance and are now among the most experienced in Prague. Please contact me, and I’ll share a link to their portfolio so you can see their work yourself.
Absolutely! A smooth complexion and well-groomed hairstyle never hurt anyone. Even if the groom feels makeup is only for women, a subtle tint for the face and neatly styled hair can make a big difference in photos. My stylists are happy to help, but please let them know in advance so they can plan their time. Be careful with clothing, as men who aren’t used to makeup may accidentally smudge their shirt.
Of course, and it is even necessary. But not to me, but to the stylist. You can prepare photos in your dresses and style options that you think fit you and discuss it with the stylist in person.
Be sure to follow advice of a professional. If it seems to you that the make-up is too bright or the tone is too dense, then take into account the fact that it is necessary for the photographs. Makeup for everyday life and for a photo shoot are completely different things and therefore it may seem unusual to you. Especially if in life you have a naturally looking make-up, or you do not use any make-up at all.
Put your eyebrows in order beforehand (a few days before the planned shooting). Extra hairs should be plucked and the eyebrows should be shaped.
All unwanted facial hair (mustache, small hair on temples) should be eliminated.
Some days before start to moisturize the skin very well, apply a moisturizing mask on the night before. Don't forget about the groom also please. Take a proper care about his skin and lips; even the slightest exfoliation will look badly at the photos.
DO refresh the hair roots! Even 1 cm of regrown hair looks awful at the photos.
Please have a look at this separate article.
Of course, at extra charge.
Clothing
No, but I can recommend wedding salons where you can explore your options. Typically, dress rentals cost around 400 euros.
If the girl is of a 'classic' Asian size, bringing dresses with you is advisable. It's not only more cost-effective, but you can ensure the right fit, considering European sizes differ.
Additionally, you'll have more time to choose the perfect style and won't need to spend your long-awaited vacation in wedding salons instead of enjoying the beautiful city.
Please have a look at the examples in a separate article.
In summary:
-Choose dresses that highlight your strengths and gently conceal any areas you’re less confident about.
-If you have fuller arms, avoid chest-corset styles and opt for sleeves covering the shoulders and arms up to the elbow.
-For curvier figures, avoid overly voluminous dresses with heavy decorations, as they may add visual weight.
-Comfort is key — you should feel at ease not only standing but also moving naturally.
-Make sure the dress allows free movement without constant adjustments. Ideal length is 2–4 cm above the floor. Since my sessions involve walking, spinning, and running, a heavy or very long dress can limit dynamic shots.
-I don’t recommend dresses with long trains; they quickly get messy or dirty outdoors.
Most importantly: you’re making a significant investment in this photoshoot, so prioritize quality over quantity. Instead of bringing multiple cheaper dresses that may feel “secondhand,” choose one stunning gown that truly enhances your beauty.
A long veil is ideal — at least 2 meters in length and around 1.5 meters wide. It should be attached to a comb, so it can be easily put on and removed during the shoot. Please make sure to steam or iron the veil the day before the session. A wrinkled veil looks untidy in photos.
As for accessories, choose pieces that elevate your look and allow natural movement — for example, hats with veils, a hand fan, or fresh flowers (no artificial ones). The key is elegance and interaction rather than decorative props. Click this link to see my recommendations.
Shoes should be comfortable, with either a flat sole or a stable, thick heel. I also recommend bringing a pair of elegant heels to have stylish options for photos. Avoid sneakers or casual street shoes, as they don’t suit a wedding dress and will show in dynamic, moving shots.
Choose beautiful shoes in a matching shade that you can move in confidently.
There are several options. I describe them in the descending order of priorities.
1) You book a hotel in the old town, ideally close to the Charles Bridge, and then we can return to your hotel where you can change.
2) You may book a car with a driver for the time of the photo session, which will wait for us and carry us from one location to another and in which you will leave your clothes.
3) You need to agree in advance with administration of the hotels, which are on the route of our photo shoot and leave your outfits there on the eve of the photo shoot (small tip in this case is very desirable).
4) You may take the dresses with you in a suitcase and change into the restroom of the restaurant on the way of our route. This option is the most budgetary, but also the most inconvenient. Your dress will be crumpled, the groom will have to carry a suitcase over the Prague pavement (this is very difficult to do and often he will have to carry it in his hands) and changing clothes in public toilets is problematic some times.
It depends on the length of the session. As a general guide, I recommend one outfit for every 3–4 hours of shooting.
I recommend a suit that is elegant, stylish, and distinctly festive - not an office suit or something you’d wear to work. Black tuxedos or sharply tailored suits is the best option. Details like a waistcoat, unique lapels, or subtle textures elevate the look, making it sophisticated and perfect for photographs, while clearly standing apart from everyday workwear.

Final Photos
In most cases, these minor concerns can be easily addressed through carefully chosen and tailored (!) clothing, hairstyle, and make-up.
Each package also includes a set number of photos where such corrections are applied. Additional retouching can be requested for other images as needed for extra cost.
The post-processing time is up to 2 months from the day of the photo shoot. I do my best to provide the photos earlier, usually my clients get them in less than 1 month.
You will receive the photos in the form of a private, secure gallery link that can be shared with friends and family if desired. The photos are available for individual download or as a complete archive, without any loss of quality. The photos are provided in *.jpg format with a resolution of 300 dpi.
The number of photos depends on the selected package, but I guarantee at least 50 pictures for each full shooting hour. This means that if half an hour or an hour has been spent on changing outfits, then, perhaps, you will get a little less photos.
Post-production will be applied on every photo delivered. The concept of processing includes framing, bringing of pictures to a single color scale, light correction and basic retouching of large portraits. You will get a mix of colored and black&white (not more than 5%) photographs.
Basic editing doesn't include removing people from an image, compositing several images together, or cleaning the background. This can be done at extra fee.
You can. The size of the photos is ~ 6750 px on the long side, the resolution is 300 dpi. Some pictures may be smaller due to the framing.
Yes, all photos can be provided for an additional fee. RAW files are also available for purchase after you receive the finished JPEG images.
